This is a lightweight partition system which consists of a steel frame where layers of plasterboard are screwed to each side of the partition this is non-loadbearing and gives a high degree of sound insulation and fire protection.

Services can be accommodated in the centre of the partition and, if required, extra insulation in the form of glass or mineral wool can be inserted in the frame work between the plasterboard to achieve greater soundproofing.
